This is a bonnet / hood support rod retainer clip used on Nissan vehicles to secure the steel bonnet stay rod when the hood is closed.

The clip features a U-shaped elastic cradle that snaps the rod in and out easily, while a push-in stem mounts the clip firmly into the engine bay body panel.

⚠️ This is NOT a grommet, NOT a latch component, and NOT a gas strut holder.
